The next ANC 1A meeting is today (Wednesday) at 7 pm, and there's a lot going on: a report from public safety chair Cecilia Jones, an update on the Bacon Funeral Home, that eyesore at 3447 14th which has been sitting half-built for literally years, and an update on the DC Fish Carryout, the place busted for selling drugs.

There's also a rather strange one: ANC 1A10 commish Lenwood Johnson, whose bad behavior I have written about numerous times in the past, is moving to remove Jones from the Public Safety Committee because she's working on his opponent's campaign (whose name is Anthony Cimino.). As far as I can tell, this makes no sense, as working on a campaign has nothing to do with public safety. To me it seems like he's trying to get back at Jones. So that should be interesting.
